What it is for
Pulling pages out as images — for a slide, a reference sheet, an issue report, or any workflow that wants pictures rather than a document. Every page is exported; there is no per-page selection step.
Choosing quality
The quality control is the render scale, not just the encoder setting. Higher values render each page larger before encoding, which keeps small text legible at the cost of file size and processing time.
Nothing leaves your device
Rendering uses the PDF engine built into the page and runs entirely in your browser. The file is never uploaded — which is the point if the PDF is a statement, a contract, or anything else you would not paste into a web tool.

Can I export just one page?
Not currently — every page is exported and delivered as a ZIP. Extract the one you need from the archive.
Why JPG and not PNG?
JPG is dramatically smaller for scanned and photographic pages, which is the common case. For line art or screenshots where you want lossless output, PDF to CBZ preserves more detail.
Does it work on password-protected PDFs?
No. An encrypted PDF has to be unlocked before anything can render it. SmartDecrypt, a separate app from the same studio, handles that case.
