Summary
ContentCue is a privacy-first reading browser. All browsing happens entirely on your device via Apple's WebKit engine. ContentCue does not load a third-party website by default; you choose the search or website address you want to open. No browsing history, URLs, cookies, or scroll positions are ever transmitted to us.
1. Data We Do NOT Collect
We do not collect, store on our servers, or transmit:
- Browsing history or visited URLs
- Scroll positions or reading progress
- Cookies from websites you visit
- Device identifiers, IP addresses, or location data
- Crash reports or analytics
- Personal information of any kind
2. Data Stored on Your Device
The app stores the following data locally on your device. None of this is transmitted to us or any third party.

You can clear all local data at any time by deleting the app from your device.
3. Apple StoreKit
ContentCue offers an optional Pro upgrade via a one-time in-app purchase, handled by Apple StoreKit 2.
- We do not receive your payment details
- Purchase entitlement is managed by Apple and subject to Apple's Privacy Policy
- Restoration is handled through your Apple ID
4. Network Access
ContentCue makes network requests only to load the web pages you explicitly navigate to. We do not make any requests to our own servers.
The websites you visit may set their own cookies or show their own cookie notices inside the web page. Those cookies belong to the website you chose to visit and are handled by Apple's WebKit storage on your device. ContentCue does not read, collect, combine, sell, share, or use those cookies for tracking.
The websites you visit have their own privacy policies, which apply to your interactions with those sites. ContentCue does not intercept, log, or transmit any of your web traffic.
5. Third-Party Services
ContentCue does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. There are no third-party frameworks included in the app.
6. Data Deletion
All data is stored locally on your device. To remove it:
iOS Settings → General → iPhone Storage → ContentCue → Delete App
This removes all preferences, bookmarks, local visited URL data, and the last-visited URL from your device.
7. Children's Privacy
ContentCue does not collect any information from any users, including children. However, because it provides unrestricted web browsing access, it is rated 12+ on the App Store.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the app. The effective date at the top of this document will be updated accordingly. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
